Singing Only for You (GL)

Ye Zihong, always so unrestrained (talking back), bold (challenging everyone), and self-indulgent (even mocking her own readers), got cheated on. Under everyone's watchful eyes, she lamented that she'd "wasted her life and been blind." Ye Zihong YZHong: I've spent over twenty years eating sweet food, and one day I tell everyone that what I love most is actually salty food. I don't feel sorry for myself for wasting my life; I feel sorry for myself for being blind. Not long afterward, she got a taste of her own medicine. Because she came out too. Ye Zihong YZHong: I don't feel sorry for myself for wasting my life. I feel sorry for being blind and not realizing that the person I love most was right beside me. Another title for this novel: "Blind, But Not a Life Wasted" Reader's Guide: This novel is not angsty! Not angsty! Seriously, not angsty! (Important things should be said three times!) The pairing is clear: Ren Ran x Ye Zihong. The key tropes are still childhood friends, mutual pining, and two sweet, naive girls. The career plot is not the focus. Everything centers on the characters falling in love! P.S. The protagonist is good friends with Gu Qiaobai from "Fish and Bear's Paw." It's fine if you haven't read it. Enjoy!
