"Hey, Edward, I heard you've gone crazy over a human girl named Bella." A pale Asian guy who looked about eighteen or nineteen lounged on the sofa with his legs crossed, turning his head to tease Edward, who sat nearby, his face cold and unnaturally beautiful as he peeled an apple.
Edward gave the guy a cool glance. His handsome brows shifted, his eyes glimmering, and a strange air of mischief seemed to spill from him. The guy sheepishly uncrossed his legs and offered a fawning smile. Seeing Edward slowly resume peeling the apple, he finally relaxed. He casually turned a page in his book and silently gave the author a thumbs-up. Nice work.
