[The Lord of the Rings] Born of the Same Root

Dedicated to the one I love most, the mightiest of the Valar, the Dark Lord of Sauron: Lord Melkor (Morgoth). This is a short story, mainly about the tangled affections between Manwe, King of the Valar in Valinor; his younger brother Melkor, the mightiest of the Ainur; and Mairon (Sauron's name before he followed Lord Melkor into darkness). First, a warning: Lord Melkor is a scumbag. The story begins before Melkor and Sauron fall. A Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion fanfic. If you love Lord Melkor (affectionately called Mushroom), come join his group. There are also full chapters that can't be posted publicly, available in the group files. You know the drill, dearies. For updates, teasing the author, reading locked chapters, or discussing the plot, join the new QQ group, "Miao Qi's Fan Club": 482754392 Thanks to Liang from the group for drawing the Manwe and Melkor picture. I really love it: This other picture is from the internet, and it's how I imagine Lord Melkor. I love it:
