I first watched The Gem of Life several years ago. I found it too angsty and stopped watching. I've always avoided angsty stories. This year, with some time on my hands, I picked it up again and watched a little more. It still felt angsty... Well, some things are simply like that. Time doesn't change them much. I thought it might be good to practice writing, too.
He Feng and Ya Si, a romance between people of different generations, with quite a large age gap. This kind of love is tragic by nature, marked by a sense of helplessness that has always been there.
