The Master Diviner

Those who master the metaphysics of the Xuan School can become grandmasters, changing fate with a turn of the hand and reshaping the world with a flip of the palm. Even those who have only learned the basics can read characters and faces, assess feng shui, and earn enough to support themselves. As for those who only want to swindle people out of money... well, they're just con artists. Bai Luo was a child from an ordinary, remote mountain village. Her grandfather was a famous "master" in the village, supposedly "proficient" in feng shui, face reading, fortune-telling, and divination by characters. He claimed to be the 108th-generation successor of the Xuan School. In Bai Luo's eyes, though, he was just an old con artist! Grandpa Bai often said that Bai Luo was a girl blessed by fate, a prodigy of the Xuan School, and destined to make a living from metaphysics. Bai Luo insisted she had no intention of becoming a female fortune-teller. She was a good student who planned to get into college and leave the mountain village! Even after Grandpa Bai died, Bai Luo still thought of him as a con artist. But after she left that mountain village and went out into the world, she suddenly realized that everything her grandfather had said seemed to be coming true, little by little. She really was going to become a female fortune-teller!
