Cinnabar Mole, White Moonlight, True Beauty

Beloved above all in the six palaces, unmatched beneath heaven. . . My cousin and I were childhood sweethearts, close as two peas in a pod. Who could have guessed that one day he would ascend the throne? ...And then? . . Female Lead A: In this palace, the emperor's favor matters more than anything. Xu Jiao: My cousin only has eyes for me. Female Lead B: In this harem, winning the phoenix seat may not guarantee a lifetime of peace, but if I don't fight for it... why did I even enter the palace? Xu Jiao: The seat I'm sitting in now... is that not the phoenix seat? Female Lead C: I heard the emperor has a beloved woman. Are you really saying I look seven or eight parts like her?! Xu Jiao: You're not even half as pretty as I am. Female Lead D: A woman who relies on her beauty to serve the emperor will only enjoy a few good years. Only wisdom can secure one's place! Xu Jiao: Cousin, shouldn't you be working on some new plan for "peace throughout the realm and envoys from every land"? Shouldn't I be the one managing the harem? The legendary emperor, Cousin: Be good. You're no good at this, so don't go making a fool of yourself. Xu Jiao: How will I know unless I try? Cousin: I've been telling you since we were little: don't force yourself to do things you're bad at. Remember when you were six and went to see the lanterns at the Lantern Festival? You said you'd solve riddles to win one, but I had to solve every single riddle for you. When you were seven, you said you wanted to catch fish and nearly fell into the water. I had to jump into the lake and catch that koi for you. And what happened? That very night, you ate the braised fish made from that koi, got a fish bone stuck in your throat, and nearly died... . . The story of a talkative emperor and his beloved cousin, sweetly wrapped up in each other. The girls in the harem had never even been with a man. After three years in the palace, they had nothing to show for it... so they were sent home.
