[Click through to my profile for the new story, The Goofy Daily Adventures of a Deer God and His Travels Through the Mortal Realm: a devil-may-care young female ghost official from Fengdu versus a cool, secretly flirtatious young male deer god from the Heavenly Court.]
My first-ever practice story, written during my cringey middle school years. Expect a ridiculous amount of melodrama. Enter at your own risk! Hahaha.

After being pitifully killed with a single blow, she figured she'd be reborn into the body of a wealthy young lady, living in luxury and having endless romantic encounters. Instead, Jing Liangxia's wandering soul was reborn directly inside a painting of a beauty reclining on a couch, becoming an immortal in a painting!
She thought being an immortal meant she'd be able to use magic at will, but she was promptly informed that apart from living in a painting, she was no different from an ordinary person...
Life inside the painting was lovely, with a babbling brook and a sea of peach blossoms. They even gave her a little wooden house, but before she'd had a chance to warm the bed, the house collapsed... (ㄒoㄒ)
To repair the house, she'd have to leave the painting and find a ladder, some planks, a hammer, and a husband... A husband?!...
One day, Jing Liangxia decided to climb out of the painting as adorably as she could and smiled sweetly. "Greetings, young master..."
But a certain someone looked as if he'd eaten a rat, his face deathly pale. "What kind of ghost is this?"
Jing Liangxia flew into a rage. "What do you mean, what kind of ghost?! You're the ghost! I'm an immortal in a painting. If you're going to paint me, paint me down to the very bones!"
The new story, The Goofy Daily Adventures of a Deer God and His Travels Through the Mortal Realm, is now being serialized.
[Blurb]
In the height of summer, on the Ghost Festival, the gates of Fengdu open wide;
As midnight approaches, demons and specters roam alongside ghost soldiers and officials.
Lu He is a minor ghost official in the underworld of Fengdu, scraping by on two taels of liquor a day. He collects debts and guides souls in the mortal world, living a peaceful life for a thousand years.
That is, until Ghost Festival night, when Lu He drunkenly declares, "Across the four seas and eight wastelands, the only one worthy of Lord Lu is the deer god Bai Chu!"
He never expected a powerful figure from the Heavenly Court to actually show up in the underworld.
The man has four antlers and an otherworldly air about him. He asks, with evident curiosity,
"I heard you like me?"
Should she grab onto a powerful ally like this or not?!
When she can't guide a soul, she goes to him for help.
When she can't beat a demon beast, she goes to him again.
She even goes to him after catching the Night God cheating with someone else's wife!
The hairpin Lu He has worn for a thousand years breaks.
He strokes her head and takes out an elegant hairpin carved from an antler. "I made it last night from one of my antler's branches. Do you like it...?"
This is the story of a max-level powerhouse discovering another hidden powerhouse, and the two of them eating well and sleeping well together.

Reading guide:
Deer god + ghost official, Heavenly Court + underworld, saving wronged souls and resentful ghosts.
An alternate world, incorporating all kinds of ghosts, gods, and elements from the Classic of Mountains and Seas...
An ancient romance dressed up as a ghost story, told in episodic short stories.
Mostly sweet with a touch of light mystery. The leads are each other's one and only, so read with confidence. The heroine becomes a true powerhouse later on, commanding ghost officials, ghost soldiers, and all manner of spirits.
Theme:
Maybe one day there will be two xian in the painting
Watch it many, many times! Like!
The concept is very good, but many things are clearly explained and people have to guess by themselves. After all, readers do not have information that is known or set by the share author. It's a bit hard to read.
The creativity is great. . It's just that God has made too many twists and turns
So in the end, the heroine and the hero live together in the painting, right? (•̀∀•́) I have to say that the writing is not very mature, there are many loopholes, and there are few details. Overall, it looks like it is rushing to the ending, so I saw many wonderful turns and wonderful plots. From the above to the ending, I wanted to abandon the article, but because of the setting of the fairy in the painting, I still endured and read it. Hmm, it's really not that good. There's a lot of room for improvement.
Maybe it's my problem, I don't understand it at all (⊙_⊙) but the subject matter is very interesting
God's turn. . . . .
It's so good. At the beginning, I felt that the dialogue was weird and the writing style was immature. But the more I watched, the more attractive it became. The plot was so great, but I found it confusing again. Update soon😄
As promised, what about the evening update? Come out quickly!!
No... Wait a minute... How did the heroine know that the prince took Yu Ping'er as her and cut her heart to take blood? Narcissism is a disease! Are all the people here smart? This change in personality and IQ
