Fortunately, the winding path was not long, and Professor Dumbledore and Fanny soon made their way along it. What a strange sight! The dark, narrow path behind them stood in stark contrast to the broad, spotless violet road before them. The Chinese girl suddenly gave a quiet, unusual little smile.
The violet road seemed especially vibrant in the sunlight, and Fanny felt happier than she ever had before. Yes, everything should be beautiful.
