[The King's Avatar] Scarlet City Under a Crimson Sky

Haha, the revisions are finished (. They’re really finished! I changed a lot of the setup. If you’ve read this before, you can read it again. I basically tore it all down and started over... The early chapters follow Zhou, and the later ones follow Yu. Right now, the two storylines are mixed together, lol. The heroine is strong-willed and awkward, with a personality that’s seriously asking for a smack. The main story begins at the end of the fourth season, when the old Sharpshooter leaves. Zhang Yiwei’s transfer is really tragic. Zhou was probably just taking over Samsara when the veterans from seasons two and three took issue with him: he’d pushed out the old captain, and then a rookie came along and outranked him. Who wouldn’t be unhappy? (I think Excellent Era might be the exception here. They’re so inscrutable.) [This fic is indulgent, melodramatic, and cringe] [This fic is indulgent, melodramatic, and cringe] [This fic is indulgent, melodramatic, and cringe] In a nutshell: these people are so busy falling in love that they’ve completely forgotten to play Glory! (That’s a bit of an exaggeration.) No sending me knives, no telling me to eat shit, and no spamming me with danmei ships! This is a romance, okay! I’m an extra-chapter fiend. If I get an idea, I want to write it. Read at your discretion from Chapter 31 onward.
