[Note: "top's POV" refers only to the protagonist's perspective in this story. This is not a story for tops, bottoms, or any other particular fan group.] [Please scroll down and read the content warnings.] Blurb: Yu Zhijie died on the night he went with a friend to the "Ghost Market." Perhaps thanks to his powerful will to survive, Yu Zhijie "came back from the dead." As a "ghost story." [Ghost story]: A strange and unusual legend. Yu Zhijie hesitated. ...He'd become a legend? Unfortunately, he was only the lowest-ranked F-grade ghost story. His future evolution path was incredibly badass [beep, ], but for now, he was merely a level-one traveling peddler, doing everything he could to sell his wares to humans and ghost stories alike. F-grade [Peddler] Traveling Vendor. Upgrade requirements: 1. Reach 100 Ghost Story Coins in sales; 2. Complete 10 transactions; 3. Pay an upgrade fee of 200 Ghost Story Coins. [Peddler] innate skills: SSS-grade skill [Interdimensional Trading], SSS-grade skill [Laws of Trade], SSS-grade skill [Eye of Judgment], F-grade skill [Planar Supply], and F-grade skill [Warehouse]. F-grade ghost story [Peddler] evolution path → SSS-grade ghost story [Wish Merchant] Plot-focused, romance as a secondary element. The plot leans toward running a business, trading, selling goods, and leveling up. Dungeon arcs are secondary. The romance is a seasoning: sour, tart, a little spicy, with a hint of sweetness [munch munch]. Pairing: Dark, morally corrupt nonhuman top x beautiful, tragic human bottom Reader's guide: 1. Please read the content warnings. 2. No outline, written to indulge my tastes. Inspired by Huashi, with lots of original worldbuilding. 3. My tastes are eclectic and intense. Readers who are particular about purity should proceed with caution. Seriously, proceed with caution! ■■■■■ IMPORTANT CONTENT WARNINGS ■■■■■ The bottom has been sexually assaulted and has used all kinds of toys, leaving him physically dependent on them. A twisted supporting character keeps trying to make him submit completely, mentally, and has done everything except go all the way. The top has no romantic history or experience whatsoever. The top has two forms. The bottom doesn't know and thinks the top is human. Sometimes the top can't control his dark, corrupt side and touches the bottom, but the bottom thinks a monster is pursuing him. Each is the other's first love. The top won't be put through angst, but the bottom might be (some inner struggles and such). This is my personal preference. You don't have to like it, but please don't bother me. ■■■■■ IMPORTANT CONTENT WARNINGS ■■■■■ Theme: Even in darkness, keep your heart turned toward the light.
