Out of the Way, Censor-in-Chief

The thing Chancellor An is best at isn't killing people, but brewing wine. The thing Censor Wen is best at isn't devising strategies, but making fried dough cakes. Which goes to show just how miserable the lives of two food lovers can be. A cup of green plum wine, its fragrance faint and its affection profound, holds feelings too hard to speak or explain. Only this scene, this emotion, will be forever branded in the heart, never to fade. An Yao: "You are the only one for me. I will never change my heart. I'll wait for you until the end of time, until the seas run dry and the stones crumble. Though time withers and the years lose their color, you will always be the hope of my life." Wen Yi: "All I want is to share a thatched cottage with you, settle by the lake, watch the sun rise and set, and savor the four seasons. Though my hair turn white and the flowers lose their color, when I look back, I still want to see you smiling sweetly by the railing." You kept your promise, and I will surely follow you for a lifetime! Only wine with plum, only love for a lifetime. Cliched, melodramatic, and naive. This is just a writing exercise, with rough prose and a rough plot. Please don't flame me if it's not your thing... Theme:
