Completed novel: Gentle private-school teacher seme x sensitive male courtesan uke →
Theme:
After staying up late to read two short stories, "My Own Place" and "A Love Affair", the author's strengths and weaknesses are very obvious. The biggest problem with these two articles is that they cannot be read consecutively, otherwise "One's Own Place" will beat "A Love Affair".
Let's talk about the author's strengths first, which are the delicate description of life and the portrayal of the characters' weak emotions. For example, Jian Xing applied medicine to Mo Le, cut five pieces of satin, and went to the night market together. These plots are full of warmth, and Mo Le's sourness, jealousy, and talk There are thorns on the inside, but helplessness and humbleness on the inside. Jian Xing is gentle and tolerant, and has the legacy of a gentleman, which makes readers feel like a spring breeze, because this kind of article will make readers believe that Jian Xing can take good care of Mo Le and open Mo Le's heart even after the decline of his family.
However, it is difficult for readers to believe that "A Love Affair" is a sweet story. More often than not, readers will be like Yuan Luo and Qian'er, who are full of hesitation and helplessness both about their opponents and about the future. It is not until the progress is 80% and when the attackers take their little boy home that everything begins to get on the stable "right track." This also exposes the problem of Shan Chajun's writing - he is good at static descriptions of life and interactions, but not good at handling narratives of spaces beyond the family. For example, not long after the opening of "A Place of My Own", Xiao Shou has basically ended his tragic past and accepted Xiao Gong's continuous flow of love. The characters that appear are nothing more than the old loyal servants at home, two children and some relatives. It does not require too much writing and is not easy to cause conflicts. The length is small but the emotions are sincere, and the author is more comfortable with it.
In "A Peach Blossom", the author adds more external factors, such as traveling to another world, wealthy aristocrats, brothel clients, and knights in paradise. Although the length is much longer than "A Place to Become", these BUFFs are not used well and are rather cumbersome. Especially compared with the next article, it simply has a negative effect. Xun Bojin, who traveled from another world, not only failed to inherit the qualities of modern people after living for two lifetimes, but was hesitant and frank, and Jian Xingcai seemed to have come from another world. Let's talk about the wealthy aristocrats, both of whom have died. They spend all day playing around, teasing the boy, missing their old friends, and feeling depressed. Even with the blessing of a knight's status, they are still beaten by the simple and unpretentious Jian Xing. The more BUFFs are stacked, the more the protagonist needs to have the ability to control them. Otherwise, they will not be able to support the quality of a man, and readers will question that they are playing with the feelings of the boy.
Furthermore, Xiao Guan's novels are quite special. The extreme asymmetry between attack and suffering is the natural tension of this kind of novels. It can be said that Xiao Shou, who is still in the brothel, not only has no dignity, but also has almost no initiative. Any negative actions by Xiao Gong during this period will weaken the feelings of both Xiao Shou and the readers. Because the pain caused by Xiao Gong's reflection cannot be equated with the pain caused by the moved Xiao Shou's spirit, "A Peach Blossom" basically made this mistake. Life and death are between two Gong and one thought. The deputy CP's Xiao Shou finally changed from "Qian'er dislikes getting along with people more and more, except for Fang Yutang and Yuan Luo, and I don't know how to deal with it at this time," to "Qian'er is tired of the worldly world. He likes the tranquility here, so I like it. Besides, Peach Fairy Valley is the place I decided to live in the future, and now the time has come, and Qian'er is my chance..." I can't help but wonder whether Qian'er doesn't like it or doesn't dare to face the future life, and just seeks a paradise to escape, and that paradise and the final reconciliation also have the meaning of whitewashing peace.
In general, "A Place to Become" has its faults, and the ending is a little abrupt, but overall it is still great. I hope the author will write more new articles after changing his vest, and try to write more full and three-dimensional characters. After all, the spirituality of "A Place to Become" is there!
It's so happy. I'm still looking forward to such a stable and satisfying life.

The author writes so well. I like it.
Dare you believe me, Fan Lei spent 2 hours in the middle of the night just to find this book that I read in the past?
It's really super well written! Hey, I don't know if you can still see it after so long.
It's great, ah, ah, ah, ah
I can't stand it anymore. It's better to be than I am to be. It's really disgusting to see Shou with such an attack.
I have never seen such a disgusting attack. I should just die.
Maya. I feel so abused just by looking at it, I'm so fucking sick
