Thirty years after the war ended, the elves and humans signed a peace treaty and laid down their arms. Exhausted by years of conflict, the human mages and priests also put their internal power struggles on hold and tried to coexist peacefully.
In this seemingly peaceful era, dark crystals known as "Despair" began quietly spreading through places where monsters gathered. Wherever they appeared, monsters grew unusually aggressive, their strength increased exponentially, and nearby villages and towns were endangered.
The royal family discovered the crystals, but sent only four people each from the mercenary corps, the Peorista Mage Corps, and the Goddess's Radiance Church. The elves also sent four members of the Silver Crescent Archers, making sixteen people in all. They hoped the strongest members of sixteen different professions could take on an army of monsters.
But they soon discovered that things weren't so simple. They were not only facing crazed monsters. An adventurer organization with an unknown agenda, followers of the Dragon plotting in the shadows, and the mysterious knights of the royal city all added even more uncertainty to an already slim chance of success.
There was no room to resist, and no explanation for why they had to do it. They could only obey this reckless decision, or perhaps the fate that had been laid out for them.
Before posting, I looked at the Dragon Nest fan fiction on Jinjiang, and it seems like most of it hasn't been received very well.
I agonized over it for a long time before deciding to post here. My writing is very immature, and I'm terribly afraid people will dislike it, so please go easy on me.
This story is a partly original setting based on the game Dragon Nest. The characters are not game avatars.
Please believe me, I'm absolutely not a cruel author. I will love and spoil them dearly!
There are quite a few plot holes, so please don't hold them against me [runs off in tears]
Note: This is a pure-love story, in other words, a BL story. It's BL, not BG, and it also includes GL. If you object to same-sex romance, I suggest you close this page.
== Clyde, don't be like this, you have a strong sense of being the villain... Too many characters appear and the relationships are confusing. Also, I forgot to mention in the previous chapter, my sister Doris's name is the same as that of the grocer from Prairie Town.
There are too many characters, but there is no physical description other than a fleeting occupational distinction, making it difficult to distinguish the characters. In addition, assassins have their own female agents. If you let the two assassins be together... Lunalia fainted in tears at the giant stone monument.
Tsk, when I first started practicing bow and arrow, I was killed by the Minotaur several times. It's a painful memory. The minotaur that can summon mobs repeatedly is really a cheat.
I really miss the side plot... And what about the love mushroom?
The battle roars in East China Region 1 and Server 3, and assassins sign in. (*^__^*) I rarely see Dragon Nest novels. Although the plot seems to have a heavy emphasis on love, the writing is pretty good. The author has to work hard! Semi-fantasy means it doesn't involve much of the main plot of Dragon Nest? QAQ The computer configuration cannot keep up. Now I can no longer play games. I can only enjoy reading novels. QAQ
