This is a sweet story, really, really, really! Sweeter than my favorite frost-sugar tangerines! Super sweet! "If you could choose, would you meet him again?" "I don't know." I hate how cruel he was to me, but I can't bear to erase the marks he left on me. "Drawn to You" is a story about a young modern man finding a powerful patron in Middle-earth. It's a romance. The pairing is with Greenleaf. The story takes place around the time of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, just after the battle, when the Dwarves have returned to the Lonely Mountain. Middle-earth is devastated. The elf Tauriel, whom little Leaf loves, is heartbroken over the death of her beloved Kili. When Ada urges him to return home, the heartbroken Leaf says he doesn't want to go back and wants to travel through Middle-earth instead. So Leaf leaves King Thranduil and begins his travels, right up until the story of The Lord of the Rings begins. The story of how the male lead and Leaf meet unfolds over those long 76 years. I couldn't find any reference material, so it's all guesswork, all my own fantasies, and all credit for the world goes to Tolkien. Heal his wounds, win his heart, and hold on to his love. I hope Leaf stays in character. I wasn't all that fond of his type to begin with, but he turned out to be so healing. I hope he finds someone who truly cares for him and can be with him~ La la la~ There'll be a little angst, but the overall tone is sweet. The angsty part is when the male lead confesses to Leaf and Leaf (at first, not quite understanding) supposedly turns him down. I respect the original work, but I'm no scholar, and I've only seen the three Hobbit movies and the three Lord of the Rings movies, so there may be some plot holes. Please be kind, or just click away if you can't deal with it. Updates will become irregular once school starts, probably once every two or three days. Thanks for understanding.
