It turns out he is the hidden crown prince of Great Qi. His mother is the empress, renowned throughout the world, and his biological father is the sage ruler of the nation.
The boy listens as his mother tells him how the empress of Great Qi was destined to become the crown prince's consort, but lost her memory. The current emperor went among the people to search for her, and the empress, with her contrary nature, shouted at him, "Do you think I'm some pushover? You can't just keep ordering me around..."
After one thing led to another, the two ended up together.
