In Year 43 of the Earth Calendar, an empire of superpowered beings rose to prominence. The empire hoped to use this as a means of ensuring humanity's continued evolution. It developed the planet Juno as a resource world.
In Year 123 of the Earth Calendar, the empire, which had lasted a mere 80 years, was overthrown from within.
The author plans to add another entry to their history of embarrassing writing. The entire setting of this novel is made up; I didn't look anything up or think it through (including the characters' names), so there are bound to be mistakes and inconsistencies.
