The Emperor and His Teacher Lay Down Their Arms [Reborn]

"Throughout my life, I have worked tirelessly to govern, driven back foreign threats, and brought peace to the realm. All under Heaven in Great Zhou is at peace, and envoys come from every direction. I have never forgotten the teachings of the sages, and in all I have done, I have been answerable to Heaven, Earth, and the people. Great God Taiyi, why then have you condemned me to die alone?" In his final moments, Zhao Cheng clutched a jade pendant worn smooth until its pattern could no longer be made out. "If there is another life, I wish only that I am no ruler, and you no powerful minister." Teacher and student, younger top, mutual pining, firmly committed to a one-on-one pairing. The top starts out a helpless little cabbage and later turns into a scheming tyrant of an emperor; the bottom is carefree and flirtatious. Set in an alternate Han dynasty.
