Everyday Posturing in Europe's Arts Scene

Joanna: Dear Mr. Theo... Theo: Buy it all! Not in the Netherlands. In France. That's right, the house with the big garden. Yes, with a view of the Seine. Sure, plant sunflowers, peach trees, and irises in the garden. Of course, I'll give you a bakery. All right, let your brothers live on their own. No problem. Just tell me what else you want. This is the story of a capable (funny) young woman making her way among a crowd of wise (wacky), brilliant (crazy) art-world luminaries, marrying a good man and making her name in art history. Please note before reading: 1. This is a Van Gogh fanfic with a historical setting. 2. One-on-one romance. The heroine isn't purely good, and she has a golden finger. If that's not your cup of tea, please don't read. 3. Historical details are based on Irving Stone's Lust for Life. ↓Click here to add the author to your favorites↓ April 2020 note: This story has been on hiatus for too long, so I can't just pick up where I left off. I'm working on a backlog now, and should be able to post three chapters every Tuesday and Wednesday going forward. Thank you, little angels, for waiting.
