In this vast world, through the flowing years, I would give my whole life just to see you rule the world!
Lin Shang: As long as you want it, even if it means a kingdom as beautiful as a painting, even if it means all the years of my life, I'll do whatever it takes to give it to you... But why won't you believe me?
Xi Tang: The world is vast, and the years are as lovely as flowers. How can you expect me to believe you? Just because you keep saying you love me? ...Lin Shang, remember this... Born into the imperial family, you are destined to have no love in this life.
One is the Ghost-Faced General, whose parents died when he was young, who studied under the Grand Tutor to the Crown Prince of Great Chu, and who is renowned throughout Great Chu as the minister who will save the world. The other is the Empress of Chu, raised from childhood to be the heir to the throne, who began ruling at fourteen and ascended the throne at twenty!
Will Chu be ushered into another golden age through the alliance of these two powerful figures, or will it fall into ruin amid their clashes?
This is a world full of schemes, conspiracies, and deceit. Anyone at your side could become a blade turned against you in an instant. A young lord of Linjiang whose entire family was massacred the moment he was born, a princess born within the palace walls, a chancellor's son with great ambitions, and a young swordsman from Jiangnan whose sword points toward the world: in this chaotic age, watch them raise their cups and debate heroes!
This is my first time writing, and I'm a complete beginner, so there may be plenty of mistakes. I hope you'll be patient with me (bows~).
I don't have much experience with romance, so what I write may be a little... (please use your imagination). Please point out any mistakes you find (bows again~).
I started writing this because I really like the Tang Dynasty's Great General Longcheng, especially his poem: "Wine of grapes in luminous cups, while pipa urges us to mount. Laugh not if we lie drunk upon the battlefield; how many return from war since ancient times?" Another reason is China's only female emperor, Wu Zetian: her ambition, her courage, and that blank tombstone...
So the general structure and ending are already set, and I probably won't make any major changes. After all, I just want to stay true to my original intent (bows a third time~).
I really like that poem too! General Longcheng...
The author will update it as soon as possible... PS is optimistic about Xiao Suzi
Not bad, but why not update it?
