"The Brain-Dead Author's Wild Imaginings, as Told by Ranyi" Of Course, Nonsense.com
Before she turned fifteen, her main occupation was eating, and her side occupation was being the future wife of a noble family.
Why?
Because she was exceptionally dim-witted and had only learned how to eat. (By the same logic, a woman without talent is virtuous.)
And since she still had long, jet-black hair, was breathtakingly beautiful, and was fabulously wealthy, she was untalented yet virtuous. Surely that made her the world's number-one future wife.
After she turned fifteen, first all her hair fell out, then her face erupted in sores. She was so hideous that she died without illness. Later, after receiving guidance from a sage, she had to change her life completely in order to save her own skin.
Simply surviving was no longer something she could manage just by being good at eating.
So her main occupation made a glamorous transformation into a writer, while her side occupation became that of a young Daoist at Qingxu Temple.
