The Mermaid's Lament

This story is a leftover from when I read The Little Mermaid as a child. You could call it a sequel.

It tells the story of the mermaid princess's descendants, who come to the human world to bring her back to life after she turns into sea foam.

Torn between family and love, with friendship tinged by ambiguity, what path will she choose?
