I am a dog, a nine-lived dog from the Planet of Dogs.
On a rainy night, I was born on Earth, into the wealthy family of a landowner in Aomori. The landowner's son, who was mixed up with the underworld, was a loveless, disillusioned artsy goofball.
As a dog with professional integrity, I decided that working for the underworld wasn't a good idea, so I switched jobs and became a guard dog at a bar in the neighboring town.
When I realized the people at the bar seemed to be part of a violent gang, I decisively joined their rival organization of civil servants and became a police dog.
While cracking down on organized crime, I ran into the little sea urchin who used to feed me meat buns as a child. To repay the kindness, I went to the Fushiguro home and became an unofficial Divine Dog.
...By the time I had only one life left, I saved my long-lost master from the Tama River.
