Chronicles of Drifting in the Wilderness

[2017. Christmas] I've left these story ideas sitting here for so long without filling them in, because of personal issues. I've been down for so long, but I really feel like I need to pull myself together and take life seriously again. So I've come back, worked up the courage to clean up the mess I made, and I'm getting ready to fill in all these holes. I might not be able to update daily, but I'll do my best to finish them. Also, I've realized that I really can't write the whole story in advance. If I have even a little written ahead, I start slacking off and can't make myself write. As for The Treasure Mouse Chronicles, it's the one I like best out of the stories I've started. But after leaving it unfinished for so long, I've lost my direction. I planned to overhaul it and start from scratch, but I've rewritten it three times, deleting and rewriting over and over, and none of the versions flows as well as the original, even though I couldn't keep writing that first version. The Treasure Mouse Chronicles had only reached 25 chapters when I stopped updating it. My plan now is to sort out the characters, relationships, and plotlines in all these stories first. Then I'll come up with an ending and wrap up The Treasure Mouse Chronicles, and start The Treasure Mouse Chronicles 2, skipping over the plot developments in the first story and taking it in a new direction. If I just continued this story, there'd be a huge gap, and the transition would feel really jarring within the same book. The earlier chapters of these stories will probably be revised, too. That's it for now. I'm going to sort out the plot, and I'll try to start filling in these holes within three days. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ What should a lowly loser do when he's been set up?
