I read a short Lu-Fu story called "An Accident," with a Lu Yu chapter and a Fu Zhenhua chapter. It was so devastating that I couldn't accept it. I thought that so-called "retribution" only counted if the person responsible knew about it. But Lu Yu never found out that he'd personally caused the death of his own son, nor did he get to see Fu Zhenhua one last time. He got off far too easily!!
So this story is just me venting. And honestly, I can't say whether it's QM or HM.
A month after posting, I'm adding a blurb: I really don't seem suited to writing angst, or to being HM, so this story has strayed further and further from what I originally intended...
