As Fate Would Have It, Slowly [From Campus to Career]

Everyone dreams of having a goddess, whether they're a man or a woman... (Oops = D) The Goddess series features stories that begin in middle school, following an ordinary girl who becomes entangled with her school's goddess, then happens to meet her again after they enter the workforce!

Part One: Fate, Slowly:

Xu Ning is the school's universally acknowledged goddess. She's popular, beautiful, a top student, and a student council member. She often takes part in extracurricular activities outside school. At a volunteer-sharing event, she recognized a younger girl from her school. At first, she was simply curious and went over to chat with her...

Naturally beautiful and loved by everyone, she was used to being the one who captured people's hearts. She never imagined that after one conversation... she would be unable to make room in her heart for anyone but this girl. Even after they started working, she would have to keep making the first move, hoping the other girl would accept her too.

She didn't think much of Xu Ning, who was called the school's goddess. Everyone said she was beautiful, but she thought Xu Ning's features were merely pleasant enough. She didn't have much of an eye for beauty. Then this goddess started acting strangely, always looking for chances to chat with her. She had always been afraid of drawing attention and becoming the subject of gossip, and she really didn't want this universally adored goddess coming near her! But...

After all their twists and turns, how did the two of them end up entangled all over again?
