The blurb is really just the story of Ren Tsuruga's parents.
Zhou Ping Baotsu (Ku Hisley) was a born actor. He went from Japan to conquer the world, stirring up a whirlwind in the entertainment industry.
Julie Vera Hope was a supermodel. She came to Japan from America on vacation and stirred up a whirlwind in Zhou Ping Baotsu's heart.
You shine like starlight, and from that moment on, I couldn't take my eyes off you. -- Ku and Vera.
This story is shamelessly self-indulgent, with a seriously overpowered protagonist. Proceed with caution!
There's no need to have read the manga, since the story doesn't have much to do with it.

Note: 1. The author's imagination ran wild, so please forgive any plot holes. This is shamelessly over-the-top, written for my own amusement and hopefully yours too. I hope you'll be forgiving.
2. The story borrows the character setup for Ren Tsuruga's parents from Skip Beat!.
