Hello, Winter

From Bucky, the boy everyone in Brooklyn loved, to the cold-faced, impossibly cool villain known as the Winter Soldier, and finally to Bucky, free from Pierce's clutches, there was always a certain frequency of repetitive, man-made noise by his ear. Yes, noise. He couldn't help frowning, then glared viciously to the side. There was a pair of red lips and white teeth, their soft texture making it hard to control himself.

Right now, though, all he wanted was to kiss those lips with the fist formed by his advanced left arm.

Was that too violent for a woman? He hesitated a little... But if it was her...? ( _ ) He raised his left hand again. The sound of its mechanical joints caught the woman's attention.

"Oh, hey! I get it, I get it! I'll keep my mouth shut and stop making noise." She pinched her thumb and forefinger together and mimed zipping her lips.

Then she reached into the sleeve of her black coat and pulled out a piece of strawberry gum. Oh! Her favorite! His hand slowed noticeably as he stretched it out. He forced a smile that looked to everyone else like a facial tic and said, "Sir, I mean, Bucky, would you like a piece of gum?"

Just as she assumed Bucky would refuse as usual and she could smoothly pull her hand back (which was exactly what she did), Bucky grabbed her hand and said, "Thanks." He pulled the piece of strawberry gum from her tightly clenched fingers, popped it into his mouth, and glared at her as he chewed it like a lion tearing into meat.
