The Forbidden City's Highest Point

The imperial palace is the most luxurious place under heaven, and also the filthiest. Its beauty seems to exist only to show off its corruption.

Poison.

Every woman in the palace is poisoned, vying for power and favor, competing to outshine one another, even at the cost of their lives. Countless flower-like young women are swallowed up by this tide.

Withering.

How many have ever stood at the very top? Countless dreams are worn away by the years. Their peony-like youth has yet to bloom before they are turned to dust.

The summit of the Forbidden City, the summit of the Forbidden City: so helpless, so desolate.
