[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles - Ping Xie] When I See You, My Lord

Years later, Wu Xie still remembered the moment Zhang Qiling galloped past.

The snow had melted, clear and pure, just like the look in his eyes.

The mountains and rivers fell silent, while the pine wind flowed by like water.

What are you still lost in thought about?

At last, I saw you, my lord, and bowed from afar.

Who in white passed by the willow-lined bank?

I listened to the rain beat against a drifting boat all night.

A few lines of ink were written beneath an oil-paper umbrella.

In the end, I couldn't hold on to this silver hook, and I accepted it. The cliffside carvings, written in flowing strokes, had faded too.

The fine spray thrown up by the snowy waves, where water and sky met, finally sank into that bleak, storm-swept scene.
