Essays on Leslie Cheung’s Films

One of the most talented and expressive actors, Leslie Cheung brought us a unique emotional experience with every film he made. In all these years since Leslie passed away, those films have become something we return to again and again, a way to remember him. The dragonfly has flown away, but the legend of love and beauty it left behind remains. I offer these few words as an expression of a longing that cannot be put into words.

These essays reflect only my personal thoughts and opinions. Any shortcomings have nothing to do with Leslie Cheung himself or his other fans. Haters and trolls, please move along. I'll humbly accept any reasonable corrections, but if you're just here to attack for the sake of it, you've got the wrong person!

In this series about all things Leslie, I may also write essays about Zhang Guorong's music and concerts. I welcome discussion and support~
