The Young Snake's Love Story

His type: A girl who really enjoys her food

His special talent besides tennis: All the housework

The thing he worries about most:

"Sao, Sao, if someone else gives you something to eat, will you run off with them?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "Kaido, get this straight first. I don't belong to anyone, so how could I run off with someone else?"

He nodded and grinned.

"True. Sao, if there's anything you want to eat, tell me and I'll go buy it for you right away."

Hey, hey, hey, Kaido, what do you take me for? I'm Aoki Sao, not someone who loses her head over food!

So I glared at him and said:

"Kaido, I like you best! ~(≧▽≦)/~"

Male lead: The tsundere boy from Seigaku's tennis club, Kaido Kaoru

Female lead: The foodie girl from Seigaku Academy's swimming club, Aoki Sao

[Special Notes]

1. This story begins in the second semester of Kaoru's first year of junior high. The main story opens in the second semester of his second year, so there is a one-year gap in between. That is why Kaoru's personality at the beginning isn't the same as in the main story.

2. A lively, laugh-out-loud childhood friends story, told in first person, with mutual feelings.

3. A silly, feel-good story. The heroine is a foodie who loves teasing the little snake and has a wonderfully peculiar way of thinking... She'll become a bit more levelheaded later on (not sure if that counts as a content warning?).

4. Starting from Chapter 29, the story will be put behind a paywall again~

Theme: The simple, ordinary things in life are what truly matter
