The Son of Heaven [Reborn]

He lost his mother at nine, ascended the throne at sixteen, and died in the wilderness at thirty during a palace coup. Looking back, Zhao Chenxi felt that his life had been nothing but tragic and laughable. Given another chance, Zhao Chenxi swore he would never repeat the mistakes of the past. What should have been his, he would hold tightly in his grasp; those who had betrayed him, he would spare not one. Whether palace consorts or powerful relatives, none would escape him. He would make the world know that he was the master of this realm, the Son of Heaven! Reader warnings: 1. The protagonist is the top. This is a rebirth-and-revenge story. 2. A deadpan, ruthless emperor top X a loyal, patriotic empress bottom. 3. The bottom is a huge fan of the top. 4. A revenge story where the concubines get put through the wringer. The logic and decency have gone out the window, so please don't look for them. 5. The author's underfunded intelligence should make it clear that this story is only for entertainment, to make you smile. Please don't take it seriously. 6. Real life has been brutal, so I'll try to update every other day.
