Duan Ning's greatest wish is to make his romantic rival, Lu Heng, cry,
but he dies in a bungee-jumping accident while helping his goddess confess to Lu Heng.
After being reborn, he somehow gets more and more entangled with Lu Heng, who's turned into a cat.
He must have been reborn the wrong way!
A look at their dynamic:
Duan Ning: Are you the one I raised?
Lu Heng: I'm not the one you raised. You're the one I raised.
Duan Ning nods: Fine, it's settled. I'll go tell them you're the one I raised.
Lu Heng grins too, baring his cat teeth: Then starting today, you belong to me.
