Struck by Love

In the teacher's words, Lai Suomi is "always late to class, never wears the school uniform, gets into fights, skips class and climbs over walls, and picks fights with teachers... She's done everything a student isn't supposed to do."

In the teacher's words, Han Kerou is "outstanding, refined and reserved, sensible and well-behaved, gentle and generous, warm and approachable, a goddess with no airs..."

"Han Kerou is so well-behaved and sensible, so easy to like and never a worry!"

"Han Kerou is so capable! She's at the top of her grade in every exam!"

"Han Kerou is so beautiful and graceful, such a rare gem! Uncle Han and his family are so lucky!"

Other children grow up with "someone else's kid" as their rival. Lai Suomi's childhood nemesis was Han Kerou. Even now, just hearing the name "Han Kerou" makes her uncomfortable.

Lai: "Han Kerou, don't push me."

Han: "Stop messing around. I'm taking your bank card as your wife."

Lai: "Don't push me into becoming your enemy."

Han: "I was making waves at school while you, Lai Suomi, were still in your senior year, chewing on pens and your fingernails."
