I'm hopeless at writing blurbs, so here are a few little snippets ^_^
Snippet One:
"All right, come out!" he said.
"I'm not coming out!" Qingcheng shouted defiantly.
"I'm the crown prince, and I'm telling you to come out!" His voice was stern.
Qingcheng felt tears welling in her eyes. When had she ever suffered such humiliation, from childhood until now?
"You go out first! Then I'll come out!" Her voice was choked with tears, with a hint of childish sweetness.
"Hmph! Then stay in there forever!" She could feel his anger. Qingcheng didn't dare say another word. The two of them remained locked in a standoff inside the room.
Snippet Two:
She knew perfectly well that he had spared her this time only because she was still useful to him. One day, she would be of no use to him, and then he would cast her aside! She suddenly wanted to return to the mountains. The old man wasn't very likable, but life there had been peaceful and easy, free of deceit and scheming. She still hadn't seen through things, though. For him and for her, this was only the beginning of their suspicions. Too many suspicions and entanglements lay between them. One day, those tangled threads would weave into a net, and they would struggle until one or both of them were ruined.
Snippet Three:
"Mmm... Why'd you take my wine? Give it back!" Qingcheng said, lunging at Jun Gu Hen and bumping her lips against his.
Jun Gu Hen clearly hadn't expected the little miss to get drunk and act up like this.
Still unsatisfied because she hadn't tasted the wine, Qingcheng slipped her little tongue inside, exploring here and licking there. She even pressed her small body against him.
Jun Gu Hen had already gotten a taste of her sweetness, so naturally he deepened the kiss. His big hand pulled her closer, bringing the restless girl in his arms even nearer.
Qingcheng went limp at once, clinging to Jun Gu Hen by instinct and instinctively wanting to deepen the kiss.
After who knew how long, Jun Gu Hen finally released the little girl in his arms. He lowered his head and nuzzled her collarbone, blowing on it mischievously. In a low voice, he said,
"That little tongue really is as nimble as a little fish! Who knew the name I came up with on a whim would suit you so well!"
