I wrote this short story under the username Tian Zhi Zheng Dao on Bianmeng sometime between 2004 and 2006. Saving it here.
As a Decepticon fan for over thirty years, I can't help imagining their future sometimes. But some things are better left unexamined. Think too deeply about them, and all you get is an inexplicable melancholy.
Theme:
There is no longer a winner.
Yes, the Autobots won the Civil War, but they lost the truth, and therefore, their original goal. The winner tamperes with history and modifies his own image, because if he is righteous, his enemy must be evil. But when they begin to forget, forget the deeds of the losers, deny the correctness of others, and use perfect lies to deceive even themselves, as if justice has always been so simple and pure. Then, blindness appears on the stage, hypocrisy sings songs quietly, and behind them, decay and desolation, dressed in gorgeous clothes, are grinning.
However, the loser has no strength to get angry and can't refute. He only feels the absurdity and indifferent sadness. He watches the victory decay and his ideals are disillusioned. He watches the winner amuse himself and directs a funny puppet show. He watches the decline gradually coming. He can only laugh. He can only laugh. That laugh, laugh at one's own inability to make a comeback, let one's ideals be buried and forgotten, laugh at one's efforts that cannot be compared to someone else's wedding dress, and that wedding dress has finally turned into dust, laugh that everything is in vain, laugh that the winner is just meager, but I actually lost to such a person, laugh that they are whitewashing and deceiving themselves, laugh that they are pitiful. Bitter laughter, absurd laughter, sad laughter, pitiful laughter, laugh, laugh, laugh...
I originally thought that although we took different paths, we ended up at the same destination. Although we were enemies, we had the same ideals. If so, it's okay to fail, as long as you succeed with our ideals, or even better.
But is that all?
That's it.
That's all.
Negate, deny, are you denying only the true history?
Suddenly I feel ridiculous and sad
From our world view, the Autobots are really a joke
I can't help but feel sorry for the Decepticons
No intention to start a fight
But think about it carefully
It seems that no matter which side wins, Cybertronian society will be black and white and chaotic.
There is no absolute good or bad, justice or evil, righteousness or villainy.
Fighting for so many years
It seems that only destruction can correspond to the splendor written in history
The above is the emotion of a student dog after reading a few fan works and original works. If you have any shortcomings or objections, please feel free to raise them.
I feel sorry for Papa, the winner can tamper with justice
I'm obviously just obsessed with Transformers and don't know them at all, but I still feel sad when I read the short story written by the author.
The song inserted in the middle is called Shenma? I seem to have heard of it
Come back and watch it again. . . Abused +1
It's a great article that fits Sonic's character very well.
