The Heart Demon Tribulation

A cultivation novel. The inspiration came from that debate on the Dharma between Fo Huang and Nü Rong. But I'm not good at writing Buddhist philosophy, so the male lead won't be a Buddhist monk. That'll save me from making a fool of myself. Zhuo Chen: If I were not an immortal and you were not a demon, I would love you. Would you love me? Qiyue: I would love you as you love me. When a demon gains a human heart, how should you treat it? The bright moon hangs in the sky, and the years are peaceful and beautiful. Qiyue: If only time could stop at this moment. How wonderful that would be. That day, I said many things. Some were true, some were lies. And there were others that even now, I cannot tell whether what I said was true or false. Everything in this world is false. Only the strength in your own hands is real. One voice in my heart told me, Kill him, and you can have everything you want. Another voice told me, No, you mustn't do that. You'll regret it. It wasn't until much later that I understood the words those elders had once spoken. This was a tribulation, for him and for me alike. Theme:
