Table Tennis: Olympic Gold Is No Longer Enough for Me

The cover is just a temporary placeholder.jpg. I'll definitely make a nice one when I start posting! I'll think of the protagonist's name before I start XD - A, a Grand Slam champion who dominated table tennis for ten years, woke up one day and discovered that the entire country had changed. This was the day before a press conference announcing his upcoming retirement and his plans to become a coach. Table tennis? That's Europe's strong suit! Soccer? Obviously, Chinese soccer is the best in the world! A discovered that in this world he was only twenty-two years old, and an unremarkable soccer player: … A pondered whether to keep playing, or stay true to his original dream and become a table tennis coach as planned. Better to let a hundred flowers bloom than to stand alone. His own dream had already come true, so why not help more people achieve theirs? A casually posted a message on Weibo to mark the occasion: Olympic champion is no longer enough for me. My new goal is to train one Olympic champion after another. At the time, A was completely unknown, and the post made no waves. The few people who saw it either mocked him sarcastically or laughed it off. Olympic champions? Training even more Olympic champions? What kind of daydreaming is that? And so, much later... Soccer fans: ??? Damn! So he used to play soccer! Why did he become a table tennis coach?! Table tennis fans: He's our coach! It doesn't matter if his original dream was soccer! He's one of us now! Other table tennis players: So why doesn't he compete himself?! He's still in his prime! Before training Olympic champions, doesn't he want to become a champion himself?! The reporters: A deep dive into A's past in soccer and present in table tennis, coming up!
