After all these years, I've come back to give this story an ending. At least I owe myself that much. Looking at it now, it's full of embarrassing old history and things I can't bear to look at, but it truly reflects how I refused to admit I was going through a rebellious phase, even as my values went completely off the rails. The theme of finding everlasting, illusory happiness in a Peach Blossom Spring was so far off the mark it might as well have been at the South Pole. The characters' personalities went wildly astray, and the unnecessarily tangled relationships were a complete mess. I hope I'll do better with my next story. Life is a journey of self-cultivation!
