[Sherlock Fanfic] Never Say Never

He is a consulting detective with a gift for deduction, outstanding reasoning skills, and high-functioning antisocial tendencies.

She is a female forensic examiner who insists on evidence, is quick-witted, and seems gentle and sweet on the surface, but has a bit of a violent streak.

All right, really, it’s a story about two self-destructive little brats who would be fine if they’d just stop courting disaster. A tsundere and another tsundere bicker and sulk every day, matching wits and battling it out.

The BG pairing is undecided: Big Mac, Curly Hair, or Adorable Inspector. Please bear with me, the author can’t make decisions.

This story was born from the author’s frustration while waiting for Sherlock Season Four and the end of the American TV season.

First, this is mainly a Sherlock fanfic. If nobody reads it, it’ll probably end after ten chapters. If people do, I’ll write more.

Next, all the cases are taken from the original show, other American TV series, or the internet. There will be some overlap with another fanfic of mine, How to Say Goodbye.

Lastly, fans who care about canon details and easily upset fujoshi, please click the top right. This is just a work for my own amusement. I don’t want to waste my energy arguing; writing is hard enough on my brain as it is.

Don’t pay too much attention to the timeline in the story. The setup is that the two close friends have already been living together for a while.

One more time: the main characters and some of the plot belong to the original works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the BBC. I’m just the one moving the words around. Apart from melodrama and wild ideas, I have nothing. I’m only borrowing them to pass the time, and none of this is for commercial gain.

To reiterate, when I write fanfiction, I bring together plots and characters from movies, British and American TV series, and web novels that I like in one story, mostly following the original shows. Of course, I add my own ideas and designs to make the story flow smoothly and read well. So it’s normal if parts of the plot feel familiar, and I won’t list every source.
