Shen Mo: Songs of the Four Seasons

Waiting for all things to grow, for summer flowers to bloom in splendor, for leaves to turn yellow and snow to fall; for carp to find carp, skylarks to find skylarks; for spring water to flow into autumn water, and summer mud to become winter mud. A year passes just like that, then begins again, over and over, like reincarnation.

How many times in a lifetime can we witness such a passing year?
