Excerpt:
When Wen Qiyu woke, it was dusk. He was tired, but at least he no longer felt dizzy. He walked out of the bedroom and saw a bizarre scene:
Gu Yan and his cat, Yarnball, were sitting face-to-face on the sofa. Gu Yan sat cross-legged, lips pursed like a cat, perfectly upright, while Yarnball crouched in front of him, clearly unwilling. They were... talking?
"Don't scratch A-Yu again ><"
"Meow~"
"A-Yu raised you until you got this fat. How can you scratch him? (︶︿︶)"
"Meow."
"A-Yu is sick, so be good. Don't make him worry ⊙ω⊙"
"Meow!" Yarnball sprang to its feet.
"Don't go o( ̄ヘ ̄o#)" Gu Yan forcibly held it down.
"Meow ° ˋ︿ˊ=" "Ah, you scratched me (╯‵□′)╯"
"Please? (┬_┬)" He pointed his fingers together pleadingly~
"Meow ╭(╯^╰)╮"
Bathed in the sunset, the conversation between the man and the cat seemed to carry the warmth of melting snow and a soft, gentle quality. Actually, rather than one man and one cat, it would be more accurate to say they were two cats. The big cat stared with bright, round eyes, its lips pursed in earnest. Its chestnut hair glowed softly in the setting sun. The little cat's dense, milky-white fur was all mussed up, and it was pinned to the sofa by the big cat, looking aggrieved.
Wen Qiyu had meant to laugh at Gu Yan for being childish, but instead leaned weakly against the doorway, unwilling to disturb this warm scene.
In the silence, you took my hand. Why does it feel as though the whole night is trembling? Maybe I've been walking alone in the dark for too long, so I can't help wanting to draw close to something warm... someone like you, Gu Yan.
This is a bittersweet substitute romance. Sweetness and angst alternate, and emoticons pop up throughout.
What sparks will fly when a gentle, playful comic artist who loves acting cute meets a kind, strong-willed lawyer devoted to justice? ~o(* ̄▽ ̄*)o
This story is co-written by Qiqi and Maomu, friends for nine years~ We wrote it for the sake of friendship too o(*////▽////*)q
Theme:
I don't know if lz studied law, but I would like to say that if you want to write about a legal worker who pursues justice, you should choose a prosecutor or a judge. Lawyers will also pursue justice, but a lawyer's professional ethics is to protect the client. This does not mean that defending bad people is not good. Even people think of bad people, they have the right to be defended before the law deprives them of their rights. What's more, there is no absolute right or wrong in real life. It may be a bit too serious, but I hope friends who read the article together will not be misled.
There is an update to the new article, so I have to come here and take a look again.
