Reposting an old locked story. Not exclusive. Three simple love stories.
1. Complete, with a few additions and corrections in the details. The main couples are: first story, Gao Siji / Li Keyong; second story, Gao Xingzhou / Fu Yanying; third story, Gao Huaide / Zhao Kuangyin.
2. It broadly fits the traditional definition of a "romance novel": "The fundamental focus of this genre is the relationship and romantic love between two people, and it must have an emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending." However, only the third story is strictly monogamous.
3. Historical sources come from books in the History section of Wikisource and related notes. There are a few errors.
4. I tend to explain people's personalities and actions through psychology and logic. Anything of that sort in the story is entirely unintentional and not the point.
5. This is basically a parallel story and prequel to A Song of Dancing Phoenixes (Li Siyuan / Li Cunxu). It may be useful as background, but it is not essential. The personal connections between these three long stories (North America, A Song of Dancing Phoenixes, and Heaven) matter more than their relevance to reading each other.
There are some potentially upsetting elements at the start, so read with care.
Theme:
A girl who likes Zhao Da very much (the so-called love him, let him suffer), only to find out at the end that it seems to be a reverse cp = = but the process of reading is still very enjoyable. There are a lot of articles on the Internet that forcefully put Zhao Da and Nan Tang Carp together, and it really can't arouse interest. It is really a surprise to see such a big article~ If it weren't for my wife, I would have always mistakenly thought that Brother Huaide was a passer-by. In my opinion, Zhao Da's character should be stronger and more confident~ But when I met Brother Huaide, a better person, it's no wonder he was like an iceberg~ Alas, my wife's writing is excellent, why are there so few comments? I feel sad.
The dialect mode switch is smooth.
Is it so bitter? . Being able to fall in love with each other like this is not considered BE.
