Chu Mingyang is in Class C, Grade 11. His former student mentor and spellcraft and oracle teacher, Shiye, has an unknown identity.
Bingyan is in Class A, Grade 10, with Chu Mingyang as his student mentor. ← He had no choice but to agree after Director Shan threatened and bribed him.
Bingyan, who has only recently entered the academy, is thoroughly annoyed by how dim-witted his student mentor is. But at the competition, he sees the unrobed mentor, shoved into the captain's position, take down the opponent with startling ease despite being a little flustered. As a substitute, Bingyan is naturally left with all sorts of mixed feelings.
But... why does he feel so uncomfortable when he sees that young man called Shiye ruffling Chu Mingyang's hair, while Chu Mingyang smiles shyly? Why does he even feel like picking a fight with Shiye?
Especially at the celebratory banquet after the competition, the way those two interact is so... irritating to watch!
Note: Bingyan and Xia Sui are unrobed first-years who have just entered the academy. Chu Mingyang and the others have moved up from Grade 10 to Grade 11; everything else remains the same. Chu Mingyang may be a little formidable (?). Enter at your own risk if this isn't your thing.
This story was requested by reader seven.L back when I had a column on Xianwang.
I hope you can still read it now that I've moved it here.
To keep the story from dragging, it starts at the competition, and the earlier events will be told in flashbacks! So please bear with the slightly odd opening.
I watched it while jumping, but it's actually pretty good.
That's it. It feels like there's still a lot more to write. It's such a shame that it's so well written but so short. But thank you to the author for writing a good story (^_^)
Congratulations on the completion! Sprinkle flowers~
It's been so long that I didn't notice it. The extra chapter I promised before has been stuck in the last chapter, and I was a little ashamed of myself for breaking QAQ.
I will look through it again recently to regain the feeling. I hope Ayu can accept QvQ with a smile.
