Play the Tiger, Eat the Pig

Just shy of thirty, Jill died on the battlefield during a mission. By chance, a necromancer brought him back to life. With no heartbeat and no idea he was dead, Jill climbed out of a pile of corpses...

In his twenty-two years, Ivan had never met such a... disheveled expert. He could excuse the way the man ate awful food as if it were delicious, but going three days without a bath and seven days without changing clothes? Ivan could put up with it; experts always had their quirks. But the man even went back to get two copper coins when a waiter gave him too little change! And at a restaurant, he deliberately put a fly in his bowl after eating, then refused to pay! What was that about? Ivan could put up with that too. There were money-grubbing experts, after all, and flaws made a person easier to control! But in the end, Ivan never imagined that all of it was just a misunderstanding...

Petty Ivan declares that he eats anything except a loss. Whatever he lost to Jill, he will get it all back! Every! Last! Bit!

My writing is awful, I abandon stories, the plot is melodramatic, and the logic is ridiculous.

If none of that bothers you,

then

please don't hesitate,

jump right in!

May next year find me buried under so many abandoned story pits that they cover me completely _(:з"∠)_
