"Saving the Nineties Entertainment Industry's Aesthetic [Book Transmigration]"
Mu Dong was a top agent in the entertainment industry. She'd managed popular young heartthrobs, as well as award-winning actors and actresses. She never expected that one day she'd transmigrate into a childish old-school campus romance novel fit for kindergarteners.
Luckily, in the novel she's a bit-part character who appears in two chapters, and the kind who won't be sacrificed for the plot and is super rich.
The male and female leads were born poor, with no domineering CEOs or rich heiresses, and no dramatic bankruptcies. In the end, all they have is love.
This is exactly her kind of story. She loves it. Being rich makes her fearless.
Ignoring the plot, Mu Dong heads straight for the entertainment industry, only to discover that this world's entertainment industry is more than twenty years behind the one she came from. The waterfalls in the sets are made of plastic, special effects are few and far between, and the costumes, makeup, and props are just plain awful.
So backward, way too backward. It's practically unbearable to look at!
She decides to save this world's entertainment industry, starting with the aesthetics of idol dramas.
The villainous bad boy has nothing but a pretty face. The entertainment industry needs you!
When Mu Dong embraces the entertainment industry and turns Qi Kai into a top-tier star, she discovers that the world she's transmigrated into is a fusion of two novels. The other is a story about a charismatic figure adored by everyone in a wealthy family. Her bad-boy boyfriend is destined for a miserable end, and Mu Dong herself won't just be crushed by the powerful: even the female lead has her eye on Mu Dong's kidney.
Mu Dong: Heh. Bring it on. Let's see what you've got!
1. The male lead is the original novel's villainous bad boy. The female lead focuses on her career.
2. The author's brain is made of stone. The plot has melodrama and illogical bits, all in service of the story. Please don't scrutinize the details. Thank you!
3. The characters in this story aren't based on real people. Please stay calm and don't attack anyone personally.
Golden finger: Sword Three System
Xue Jin: The transmigrated protagonist, a military man
Personality: Money-grubbing, adorably clueless, and proud
Romantic dynamic: Weak against the strong, strong against the weak (Haha, the foolish author is actually going for some ambiguous tension.)
The story: Half-original, with the turmoil of a chaotic age!

I have to admit the blurb sounds pretentious, but the story itself is full of fun and laughs.
1. This story is set in an alternate history and borrows only a small part of the plot and setting from Dream of the Red Chamber. Everything else is original. The author studied science and is terrible at history, so please be kind if you're sensitive to inaccuracies or love picking apart the details. Thank you!
2. This is a power-up fantasy! The first thirty chapters are a slow burn, focusing on the military man's childhood. The blood-soaked battle of Tiance comes later! This story is clean.
3. The protagonist is a Tiance Army military man and a game player (personality: adorably clueless and chuunibyou, no explanation needed), who transmigrates with a Sword Three System. This story has no connection to Sword Three's plot, so if you haven't played the game, don't worry. It won't affect your reading.
4. The author has no shame and questionable values. This wish-fulfillment story has plenty of potential pitfalls. Please add it to your collection, mwah!
This story officially went premium on May 30. There will be three to five updates on the premium launch day, and daily updates will continue afterward! I hope you'll keep supporting me. To those reading pirated copies, please spare me and leave the author a way to make a living!
