A short story meant to make one point: some things, once missed, are set in stone, and trying to make amends is futile.
Jin Haiting's best friend, Hua Fan, is attacked and killed by a thug, leaving Jin as the prime suspect. But no one knows that although Jin Haiting is married, he and Hua Fan have secretly been together for years. Jin isn't anxious about being unable to prove he didn't kill Hua Fan. All he wants is to find the person who ordered Hua Fan's murder. More than that, there's a question he's never dared to ask all these years. So, through a highly discreet channel, he finds someone who claims to be able to communicate with the dead.

It's so unkind. Last night's post made people cry. When will there be sunshine? I've read the two articles that made people cry. When will lovers finally get married? Li Guangyu and Xia Bin both wrote twice. In the end, they were not clearly together. Hua Fan went to the underworld, and Jin Haiting had no chance in the end... Alas, alas, they were all tears...
