TO Natsu: Fire and all that is totally lame... Hey, don't make that face! Damn it, put your fire away!
TO Gajeel: Is being an Iron Dragon really okay? Eating iron and all that, little Gajeel, I'm really worried about your stomach... Damn it, get that iron pole out of my sight!
TO Laxus: Being an angsty emperor gets you nowhere. You'll never find a girlfriend, and you'll spend your whole life with your right and left hands as your best buddies. How sad... I'm sorry, I was wrong! Don't zap me!
TO Wendy: You really are a little angel. Sweet, gentle girls are the best! Wait... Don't say no! Little angel, please don't abandon me!
TO Sting: If you like Natsu so much, go after her, I mean him! Don't make that face like if you beat him, he'll belong to you... Wait, Natsu, why are you joining in for a double attack? I'm really going to cry!
TO Rogue: Since we're sort of from the same parents, hurry up and ditch your best buddy. Boy love isn't happiness... Tanasia, what are you doing here? Let me go!
[The goofy blurb is above. Now for the literary version.]
Fire and light entwine, illuminating the lonely underworld. Quietly seated aboard the ship called "Death," we drift with the current. Thunder crashes down, bringing sound. Iron crisscrosses like buildings in the human world, bringing this place to life. The gentle wind entwines with us, healing both body and soul. Shadows appear behind us, smiling, as we all take each other's hands.
We are all children of dragons.
Okay, I know Laxus doesn't have a dragon or anything, but he's sort of a Dragon Slayer Mage, so let's count him in. And the Poison Dragon guy... Sorry, I only remember his passionate moments with Miss Snake, so I forgot about him. But I really like him and Miss Snake together, so I'll make it up to them with a short story later. [Serious face]
The heroine is an immortal Dragon Slayer Mage, and her magic is immortality magic. She's probably a pretty ordinary sort of person, not especially proactive, but not yandere or anything. It's a little story about a withdrawn child who finds good friends with people's help.
Immortality Magic: The magic of the immortal dragon Tanasia. Immortality Magic includes dark curse arts, things like curses that make life worse than death, but it also has proper offensive spells, with attacks similar to Rogue's. It also has a special ability: resurrection [which can be taught to ordinary people]. There are many conditions for resurrection. One is that it requires a life as payment, but since the caster is immortal [if they weren't immortal, they'd simply die], most requirements can be met through a complicated process. However, resurrecting someone is like making a puppet: first, you make the body, then create a soul based on the caster's memories. You have to understand and know them completely, or the result will be nothing more than a simple puppet.
Of course, immortality doesn't really mean you can't die.
It'll probably be a medium-to-long novel. I'll start working on it during summer vacation. For now, I'm building up a backlog.
