Interstellar Botanist

Zhou San meeting Jilu was like someone who had never tasted pork being served a buffet of dragon meat.

At their first meeting, Zhou San stole everything from Jilu, and they kept running into each other because of his cultivation needs. Then, at every monthly exam, an outstanding graduate from a First-Level Star personally tutored him.

Jilu came from a powerful family, had seen a lot of the world, and was highly learned, making him a rich source of knowledge for Zhou San. He was a masochistic, tsundere young master with a deep voice. On a whim, he put together an exploration team to help Zhou San search for mineral deposits.

Before they knew it, twenty monthly exams had passed, and the ultimate Botanist assessment had arrived, while their exploration team was still on another planet carrying out a mercenary mission.

It looked like Zhou San would face countless obstacles on his way to passing the Botanist assessment and becoming a true Junior Botanist.
