I Know the Author

Have you ever seen a tragic heroine who knows the author personally? A man who's cold and selfish, living only for one woman? Or... an author who seems more like the protagonist than the protagonists themselves?

"I want to apply to go ring the bells at Notre-Dame de Paris."

"I don't know why, but I'll stay by your side forever."

"Application denied. These days, the top priority is holding on to cruel and heartless readers. As for what the protagonist wants, what the heck is that?"

Before reading, please follow the proper instructions:

1. Though I solemnly promise in the story that it will be rigorous and uphold the right values, anyone who knows me understands that's all a lie. This story has no such thing as proper values, and, like my track record for finishing stories, you'll just have to wait and see.

2. The values in this story aren't suitable for teenagers who haven't yet formed their own. The male lead may be adorably obsessive, but if you meet someone like him in real life, call the police immediately. The heroine's outlook on certain things is also hardly conducive to personal growth. So please think it over carefully, and don't imitate anything you read here.

3. The author has a severe delusion problem and has only just recovered. I deal with trolls by freezing them out, but I'll respond to any reasonable opinions that don't go as far as asking things like, "Why does the heroine have to be a woman?"

4. This story has been revised. Even if you've read it before, you can enjoy the feeling of seeing it with fresh eyes.
